About the Concord Highway Patrol
The Concord Highway Patrol is a team of elite state troopers that focus on pursuits and road safety! We perform patrols daily and host events such as QNAs, recruitment booths, and police checkpoints. The Berkeley District State Police Barracks is located at 1478 New Trooper Drive, Hedgesville.
Our Mission
The Concord Highway Patrol's mission is to protect and serve every citizen of Concord. We also have a goal of ensuring road safety at all times!
Traffic enforcement
Our highly trained troopers enforce traffic laws all over the state of Concord. We have our troopers driving Dodge Chargers, Ford Explorers, and fast motorcycles!
Emergency response
When our troopers arent enforcing traffic laws they are responding to 911 calls all over Berkeley County. CHP proudly works with other law enforcent agencies to stop crime! The Concord Highway Patrol is always ready for any emergency and even has its own SWAT team know as SORT.
Pursuits
We specialize in winning most of our pursuits. Our troopers utalize fast police cars to intercept suspects. We also have an aviation unit for CHP which proves useful during pursuits. CHP troopers are also allowed to pit at any speed.
